This Privacy Policy explains how LLC “Learny Technologies” collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use Stiqi, including our mobile application, website, and related services.

Stiqi is a mobile application that allows users to create personal sticker packs from photos, browse ready-made sticker packs, and export stickers to messaging platforms.

By using Stiqi, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

the Stiqi mobile application;
the Stiqi website located at stiqi.app;
account features;
personal sticker generation;
preview sticker creation;
ready-made sticker packs;
Premium subscriptions and key purchases;
support communications;
analytics and diagnostics connected with the service.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, app stores, messaging apps, or services that we do not control.

3. Minimum Age

Stiqi is intended for users aged 13 years or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

4. Information We Collect

We collect different types of information depending on how you use Stiqi.

4.1 Account Information

When you create or use an account, we may collect:

Firebase user ID;
authentication information;
email address, if you sign in using email, Apple, Google, or another supported login method;
anonymous user identifier, if you use Stiqi before linking an account;
account status;
app settings;
Premium status;
key balance;
purchase-related entitlement information.

We use Firebase Authentication to help manage authentication and account access.

4.2 Photos You Upload

Stiqi allows you to upload or take a photo, including a face photo, in order to generate a Personal Sticker Pack.

Uploaded photos may include personal information because a face photo may identify you or another person.

We use uploaded photos only to:

generate personal sticker previews;
generate full Personal Sticker Packs;
provide access to your generated content;
troubleshoot generation errors;
maintain security and prevent abuse;
support account deletion workflows where applicable.

You must only upload photos that you have the right to use.

You must not upload photos of another person without their permission.

4.3 Preview Stickers and Generated Stickers

Stiqi creates:

preview stickers;
full Personal Sticker Packs;
generated images;
ready-to-export sticker files.

Each Personal Sticker Pack contains 15 stickers.

Preview stickers and generated sticker packs may be stored in your account so that you can access, unlock, restore, or export them later.

4.4 Regular Sticker Pack Usage

When you browse or use ready-made Regular Packs, we may collect information such as:

packs viewed;
packs saved;
packs exported;
pack category interactions;
Premium or Exclusive pack interactions.

This helps us operate the app, improve recommendations, and understand which packs are useful.

4.5 Payments, Premium, and Keys

Stiqi may offer:

Premium monthly subscriptions;
Premium yearly subscriptions;
key purchases;
key bundles;
Premium Packs;
Exclusive Collections.

Payments are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play in-app purchase systems.

We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details.

We may receive limited purchase-related information from Apple or Google, such as:

purchase status;
subscription status;
product identifier;
transaction identifier;
renewal or cancellation status;
entitlement information.

4.6 Technical and Device Information

We may collect technical information such as:

device type;
operating system;
app version;
language;
country or region;
IP address;
device identifiers or installation identifiers;
crash logs;
performance data;
diagnostic data;
Firebase Analytics events.

This information helps us:

keep Stiqi stable;
fix bugs;
improve performance;
detect abuse;
understand how users interact with the app.

4.7 Website Information

When you visit stiqi.app, we may collect limited technical information such as:

pages visited;

approximate location based on IP address;
referral source;

If we use cookies, pixels, or analytics tools on the website, we will use them to understand website performance, improve user experience, and measure marketing effectiveness.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

provide the Stiqi service;
create personal sticker previews;
generate full Personal Sticker Packs;
store generated stickers and packs in your account;
allow you to export stickers;
authenticate users;
restore purchases and entitlements;
manage Premium subscriptions and keys;
operate Regular Packs, Premium Packs, and Exclusive Collections;
provide customer support;
improve app performance;
debug crashes and technical issues;
prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
comply with legal obligations;
enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Photos, Face Images, and AI Processing

Stiqi uses uploaded photos to generate Personal Sticker Packs.

Your photo may be processed by our backend systems and by third-party service providers, including OpenAI, to generate stickers.

We do not use uploaded photos or generated stickers to train our own AI models.

We also do not intentionally use uploaded photos or generated stickers to train third-party AI models.

Generated outputs may vary. Stiqi does not guarantee that generated stickers will perfectly match the uploaded photo, identity, expression, or likeness.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right and consent to upload any photo you submit to Stiqi.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar data protection laws, we process personal information based on the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract

We process information to provide Stiqi, including account access, sticker generation, saving packs, exports, Premium features, and key purchases.

Consent

We may rely on consent for certain activities, such as access to photos, camera permissions, push notifications, or optional marketing communications.

Legitimate interests

We may process information to improve Stiqi, secure the service, prevent abuse, analyze app performance, and provide support.

Legal obligations

We may process and retain limited information when required by law, tax rules, accounting rules, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory obligations.

8. Where Data Is Stored

Stiqi uses infrastructure and service providers that may store and process data in different locations.

Current infrastructure includes:

backend/server infrastructure hosted in Germany through Hetzner;
Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase database/storage, and Firebase Analytics;
OpenAI for AI-based sticker generation.

We aim to use EU/Germany-based infrastructure where possible.

However, some service providers may process data in other countries depending on their infrastructure, subprocessors, support operations, or legal requirements.

When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or data processing terms.

9. Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate Stiqi.

These may include:

Google Firebase

We use Firebase for authentication, storage/database, analytics, and related infrastructure.

OpenAI

We use OpenAI to help generate stickers from uploaded photos.

Hetzner

We use Hetzner infrastructure in Germany for backend/server hosting.

Apple and Google

Apple and Google process in-app purchases, subscriptions, payment status, refunds, and store-related transactions.

Analytics and diagnostics providers

We may use Firebase Analytics and related diagnostic tools to understand app performance, crashes, and usage patterns.

We only share information with service providers as needed to operate, secure, improve, or support Stiqi.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

10.1 Uploaded Original Photos

Uploaded original photos may be stored for up to 30 days after generation for service reliability, retry, debugging, and abuse prevention purposes.

After that period, we aim to delete them or make them unavailable unless they are still required for an active user-requested feature, support case, legal obligation, or security investigation.

10.2 Preview Stickers and Generated Sticker Packs

Preview stickers and generated sticker packs may be stored for as long as your account remains active, so you can access, unlock, restore, or export them.

10.3 Account Information

Account information is stored while your account remains active.

10.4 Purchase and Entitlement Records

Purchase and entitlement records may be stored as long as needed to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, handle disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.

10.5 Analytics and Diagnostics

Analytics and diagnostics may be stored in aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized form for product improvement, security, and performance analysis.

10.6 Backups

Some data may remain in encrypted or protected backups for a limited period after deletion.

We aim to remove backup copies within 90 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

11. Account Deletion

Stiqi provides an account deletion option inside the app dashboard.

The expected path is:

Profile / Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account

When you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize:

your account information;
uploaded photos;
preview stickers;
generated sticker packs;
Personal Packs;
app profile data;
stored user content connected with your account.

Deletion may not remove:

transaction records maintained by Apple or Google;
information we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, or dispute purposes;
anonymized or aggregated analytics;
limited backup copies until backup deletion cycles are completed.

We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days.

Some backup copies may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from backup systems.

After account deletion, you may lose access to your packs, keys, Premium status, and generated stickers, unless restoration is available through Apple or Google purchase restoration mechanisms.

12. User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

access your personal information;
correct inaccurate information;
request deletion of your information;
restrict processing;
object to processing;
request data portability;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
file a complaint with a data protection authority.

13. Camera and Photo Permissions

Stiqi may request access to your camera or photo library so you can create Personal Sticker Packs.

You can control camera and photo permissions through your device settings.

If you deny access, some features may not work, including personal sticker generation.

14. Push Notifications

Stiqi may use push notifications to:

notify you about generated packs;
remind you about unfinished previews;
inform you about Premium, keys, or limited drops;
send service-related updates.

You can disable push notifications in your device settings.

15. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with Stiqi and to improve the app.

Analytics may include:

screens viewed;
feature interactions;
pack views;
generation events;
export events;
subscription or key purchase events;
crash or performance signals.

We use analytics to improve Stiqi, fix problems, and understand product performance.

16. Cookies and Website Tracking

The Stiqi website may use cookies or similar technologies to:

operate the website;
understand website traffic;
improve performance;
measure marketing campaigns;
remember preferences.

If we use non-essential cookies or tracking technologies that require consent in your region, we will provide appropriate notice or consent options where required.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

18. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the photos you upload to Stiqi.

You must not upload:

photos you do not have permission to use;
photos of another person without consent;
illegal, abusive, hateful, sexual, exploitative, or harmful content;
content that violates the rights of others;
content involving minors in an inappropriate or unlawful way;
content intended to impersonate, deceive, harass, or harm others.

We may remove content or restrict accounts if we believe our rules, Terms of Use, laws, or safety standards have been violated.

19. Generated Content

Generated stickers are created automatically based on uploaded photos and selected styles.

Generated content may be imperfect, inaccurate, unexpected, or visually different from the uploaded photo.

You are responsible for how you use and share generated stickers.

Stiqi should not be used to create misleading, harmful, illegal, abusive, or non-consensual content.

20. Children’s Privacy

Stiqi is intended for users aged 13 and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has used Stiqi or provided personal information, contact us at support@stiqi.app, and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

21. International Users

Stiqi may be available worldwide.

If you use Stiqi from outside Ukraine or the European region, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

By using Stiqi, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

22. Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their independent advertising purposes without appropriate notice or consent.
